Happy Friday! I had today off from work for Good Friday. I haven’t taken any time off since January and the last few weeks at work have been crazy so the day off was much appreciated.
I thought I was going to be headed to the beach to see my parents this weekend, but my fiancé ended up needing to get his wisdom teeth out semi urgently so we’re going to be having a low key weekend at home instead. Everything went well, and he’s still sleeping off the sedatives.
We’re supposed to get some crazy storms tonight with tornado warnings, so it’s probably for the best that we’re not driving anywhere tonight. We’ll have to get in a beach weekend sometime soon instead.
I started listening to a podcast called “Bear Brook.” It’s a true crime podcast about bodies found in a barrel right outside Bear Brook State Park in New Hampshire. The crime still hasn’t been solved, and the bodies were never identified. It’s a crazy story that makes me a little sick to my stomach to think that no one ever reported these people missing, but it’s so interesting to listen to.
On the topic of true crime, I finished the first episode of “The Act” on Hulu. It’s about Dee Dee and Gypsy Blanchard and the 2015 murder. Based on the first episode, it looks like they’re going to do a really good job telling their story.
Tell me what you’ve been loving this week!
